Your journey into motherhood is just the beginning of some of life’s most cherished memories.Even before your baby arrives earth-side, you form a bond like no other. Every day for the past few months you’ve felt them grow, from the little kicks and somersaults, to the back pain and nausea. Your body has worked so hard to create and nurture this baby. The two of you have already been through so much together and this incredible journey is exactly what maternity photos should be about.
Your session should make you feel empowered, strong, and beautiful while I capture delicate, intimate moments. This experience can be incredibly healing. It should be a celebration of this fleeting chapter and this little life you’ve created. In the same way that every pregnancy is different, so is every session — you are not like everyone else, so your photos shouldn’t be either. It’s extremely important to me that your story is told in a way that feels true to your life. That’s why I strive to create a safe space where you (and your partner) can let your guard down, be vulnerable, and be fully present.

Hey, I’m HaleyClare!
Connecting with your photographer is extremely important, so I’d love to tell you a little bit about myself. I’m based out of my hometown, Nashville, TN and travel throughout the US and internationally. I’m married to a very handsome dude named Will who I’ve known since high school. We have a daughter and 2 rescue pups, Wingnut and Catfish.
I value time with my wild little family above all else, whether we’re hiking, living out of a van in Iceland, or hanging out with our parents and siblings. I also value the connections I make through photography. My life is unconventional in a lot of ways so I really connect with people who like to break the mold.
Since I began photographing them, maternity sessions have held a really special place in my heart. When I became a mom myself I truly understood the importance of feeling strong and beautiful, even when I was feeling exhausted. I’ve photographed mothers who have overcome so much. For me, the most rewarding part has been helping these women feel confident and celebrating the fact that they’re creating a human from scratch. I committed to creating an experience for these moms that is entirely unique to them and doesn’t just replicate other photoshoots. I’m here for the moms and couples who want their photos to feel true to who they are.

The ProcessOnce you’ve chosen a package and are ready to reserve a date, just send me an email in the links below to let me know.
I’ll send you my contract and invoice. At this point, you’ll only pay the retainer fee which reserves your date, guaranteeing that no one else can book me for that time.
We’ll have our consult (either via phone or in person) to go over all the details

Multiple locations and plenty of time for outfit changes (and snack breaks). We can make this session as adventurous as you want. Whether you’re dreaming of a dramatic waterfall maternity session or photos during golden hour in a wildflower field, I can make that happen. You can set the pace and not worry about anything other than being fully in the moment. Some day you’ll show your little these photos— these photos of the two of you— and show them how badass and gorgeous their mama is.

Your choice of a gorgeous outdoor setting or an intimate in-home lifestyle session. Think milk bath session, outdoor golden hour or sunrise session, or even in front of a waterfall. We can explore a single location or a few different ones with plenty of time dedicated to fulfilling your vision. We can focus our time however you want, whether it’s dedicated mainly to capturing moments of you and your partner, or getting shots to highlight that baby bump. Your maternity photos should be about soaking in the last few weeks before you finally meet your baby. My goal is to plan your session so you can focus solely on being present, enjoying every minute, and feeling totally connected to your little one.
