Meet your photographer (and new best friend)

That’s me! I’m HaleyClare!

To be honest, it’s hard to talk about myself without talking about photography because it’s more than just my job. My business allows me to shoot here in Tennessee and around the world. I’m based in Nashville, TN where I was born and raised (I’m a unicorn, as they say). I live here with my husband, Will, our daughter, Wednesday, and our dog, Fish.

I’m an avid hiker and birder which means I stop every 30ft on the trail because I hear a cool migratory songbird. My passion project for the last few years has been my native plant restoration in my garden. You can find me with my hands in the dirt, obsessing over the pollinators. I’ll talk your ear off about regenerative gardening if you let me. You could call me a garden witch or a conservationist (it’s both). Most of my sessions take place outdoors for this reason, but I also live for indoor sessions where I can document raw, real moments of a day in your life.

With enough trust in your photographer, the experience can be healing, empowering, and unbelievably fun. The trust built with my clients is why we end up feeling like long-lost friends. Those connections mean the world to me and are forged with inclusivity, affirming everyone’s self-identity, and celebration of diversity.

My intention is that everyone feels comfortable to be their authentic selves on camera. I’m a staunch ally in many respects, such as LGBTQ+ rights and visibility. I love working with people of all races, gender identities, sexualities, abilities, and ages. You deserve to be not just seen for who you are, but celebrated.
